I have not kept up with D27 softball much this year, but if looks like it is coming down to 4 teams....
1. Rogers: Should have the lock on 1st as they have not lost a district game 2. Academy: Should take 2nd. Have wins over Cameron Yoe(2) & Lexington(1) 3. Cameron Yoe: Have the edge on the 3rd place spot. Have games with Lexington & Rogers left. 4. Lexington: Have games with Rogers, Academy, & Cameron Yoe left.
The big game will be Tuesday when Cameron Yoe heads to Lexington. If Cameron Yoe wins they should have a lock on 3rd, unless they lose a game they shouldn't lose. If Lexington were to win, there would more than likely be a tie-breaker game that would have to be played at the end of the season between the two.

Cameron Yoe 17 Lexington 10
Big win for Cameron as this clinches the 3rd spot in D27. Big win for them as they have had their top pitcher out for a majority of district. Offensively they have stepped it up, and have gotten enough pitching from a freshmen on the mound.

D27 PLAYOFF REPRESENTATIVES
1. Rogers 2. Academy 3. Cameron Yoe
Lexington is a team that could have probably went a few rounds themselves, but it was a deep top half of the district. Rogers has yet to be beaten in district. Academy did well last year in the playoffs and returned essentially everyone from last year. Cameron Yoe has been without their top pitcher for most of district, and I think she may return for the playoffs. Hopefully she can get some work in during a warm-up game. Overall, this district should fair well in the playoffs.

Game 1 Hallettsville 8, Academy 5
Game 2 Not sure of the score, but do know that Academy was up 10-3 in the 4th
Game 3 Hallettsville 16, Academy 6
Somewhat surprised to see Academy bow out in the 1st round.
