According to ESPN, the Colts will release QB Peyton Manning and save $28 million dollars. Im not shocked that they made this decision purely based on his recent neck issues but I'm shocked that they did it after eveything he has done for them to put Indy on the map. He brought them a super bowl title to Indy, multiple MVP's, multiple Pro Bowls etc...but now they start the Andrew Luck era (as its pretty much a forgone conclusion now that Peyton is gone) and rebuild completely.
What are your thoughts on this fellas?

It was basically a no brainer for them. They need the cap space for one because their O-line is old and needs some work and some of their superstars like Reggie Wayne might not be back so that will free up some more space. Not to mention they wont have to give Luck a fat contract right off the bat. They can get the top QB in the draft since Manning in Luck and slowly rebuild and use that money on other needs.
