The opening series got underway in Japan as Seattle defeated Oakland, 3-1.
The rest of the regular season games will begin April 4th & 5th. Anyone have any predictions on how your team will do during 2012?

Im hoping the Rangers will find a way to still be the best team in the AL West with the addition of Yu Darvish. Im hoping for another chance in the world series again but winning it this time. The last 2 years have been really painful for me to watch as a Rangers fan. But things are going to be difficult with Pujols and CJ Wilson on the Angels. if the Rangers dont win it this year I dont care who wins it as long as it isnt the Angels! I freaking hate the Angels!! GO RANGERS!!

Although I'll probably take Arizona to win the NL West as of RIGHT NOW seeing as Lincecum is struggling and his velocity is still dipping off. He is gonna have to get himself and the pitching staff on the same page the whole year in order to have a shot to win the west. Bottom line Lincecum hasn't pitched like the Cy Young ace he is lately.

Not so sure about my Red Sox pick at this point. They are now 4-10 on the year and their just appears to be quite a few problems. The starting rotation has been inconsistent and the bullpen has too many question marks.
